Dr. Millard Rausch appears twice on the screen at the WGON studios and warns the audience the zombies will not run out of food as long as humans are alive and that they must be destroyed on sight, later recommending they should be eradicated by use of a nuclear weapon. The interviewer finds Dr. Rausch's opinions ridiculous, but they later seem to be founded in rational thinking.
